Thank you for visiting our little corner of the internet. We wanted to share with you a little about our mission and what drives us to bake hundreds of cookies and pies a week.
We at The Pie Place are passionate that sacred moments happen around good food. In this fast paced world it can often feel like there are overwhelmingly too many digital connections. We have found ways to digital-ize almost everything in our world- relationships, shopping, education, exercise, etc.; however food is one of the last things that will always be fully tangible. Food offers a brief time to pause, be still, and fully be present in our authentic world. It also has a way of bringing people together. Whether it is due to a holiday, a lunch break, or a celebration, people are drawn together around food. In these moments senses are awakened and you have an opportunity to share and create memories with those who are currently present with you.
We are inspired by the idea that we get to contribute to those rare and sacred times- times that are rich, real, and delightful. We strive to create mouth watering moments that make you relish in the present. We care deeply about the quality of our products and the moments that will be cultivated around our food. This life is precious. Therefore, we invite you to cherish it, savor it, and fill it with good food and even better pals. So come buy a pie, share it with good friends, and take a couple of moments to live and enjoy the great and glorious gift of today.
Hey there pie pals!
We have a couple updates here at The Pie Place, and we are so excited to share them with you!
First, we are now offering gluten free pies!! We are so thrilled about this new addition to our little shop. We love all of our pie pals, and we want to make delicious pies an option for all men and women gluten or no gluten! However, due to the fact that we are not fully a gluten free kitchen there is a chance of some cross contamination. We strive to respect your dietary restrictions, and we hope you enjoy these new tasty treats.
Second, we are now offering pies for weddings and events! So hit us up if you want some pie to enhance whatever occasion it is that you are celebrating. Honestly is it even a party if there's no pie?
Third, we'll be at the Blue Cross Blue Shield market every Thursday starting May 23. So if you know someone who works at Blue Cross get them to stop by, meet us, and grab you a pie.
Love you pie pals!
As some of you Pie Pals may know, our mission at the Pie Place is to give 10% of our earnings to a local charity/nonprofit. After a sweet summer of berry pies, countless cookies, and heavenly biscuits, y'all helped make it possible for kids to go to camp with Chattanooga Young Life!
Teenagers today so rarely have the opportunity to escape their worlds, unplug from the media, and simply have the freedom to be kids. However, a week at a Young Life camp allows them to retreat to a safe space and experience life to the fullest. It is a week full of laughter, adventure, and learning who Jesus truly is.
We are so proud to be able to be a part of the mission of Young Life, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to help give high school kids the best week of their lives. Thank you so much for your support and your contribution to our little Pie Place.
